IBM z15 Launch

I led the set design for a video broadcast launching IBM Z's new mainframe. This encompassed creating concept art and floor plans, selecting the furniture and props, and designing the lighting and stage layout — and then managing multiple vendors who helped execute it. Though the final design is sleek and minimal, it took an incredible amount of work to transform a dingy theater into a beautiful, film-ready set. The labor is all in the details for this one: finding the appropriate easy-install flooring, determining exact measurements for each piece of plexiglass to cover the riser platforms, continuously cleaning the plexiglass to ensure it stayed spotless, and assembling an art department crew to pull this all off.
